  We are working with a long-term client of Williams Kent, a collaborative and friendly team who are looking for a Total Reward Manager. This is a truly broad role, covering all areas of operational, strategic and project work across compensation, benefits, mobility, and payroll. The ideal candidate would have experience with RemCo and in international environments. This one is based in Glasgow (50/50), but we’re also open to considering candidates that are looking to relocate within the UK. Please see details below and feel free to share within your network.   Details: Job Title: Reward Manager Contract: Permanent Location: Glasgow* Working arrangement: 50/50 office and home working policy Salary: Circa £70K - £75K +Benefits *Generous relocation package for anyone considering a move within the UK.  The role: The person in this role will help manage and develop the company's reward strategy, making sure it supports both the business and people goals, and helps improve performance and employee engagement. They will offer expert advice to Senior Leaders, Managers, and HR teams on reward-related matters, including the annual reward cycle and special projects. This will be done in specific regions, while also working on the overall company reward strategy. They will also help create new reward programs, look for ways to improve, and stay on top of new trends and ideas.   What we need: ·         Previous experience in Reward at this level, across multiple geographies is advantageous. ·         Sound knowledge of reward practices and principles gained over time. ·         Adept at stakeholder management with well-developed consultancy skills to gain trust, and respect Confident with the ability to influence and positively challenge. ·         Calm under pressure with appropriate project management and organisational skills to deliver multiple projects in parallel to delivering the ‘day job’. ·         Approachable, enthusiastic, proactive, resilient and respectful ·         Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact and influence up to senior executive level. ·         Business savvy and continuously curious ·         Strong analytical and excel skills, working with significant volumes of data from various sources including HR systems.   Responsibilities: ·         Implement and refine the Total Reward philosophy, clearly defining the employee value proposition. This would be a great role for someone looking for a broad, hands-on reward role, who can hit the ground running in a busy HR team. This person will be accountable for driving the C&B agenda for the business. This role will have specific responsibility for the collaborative implementation of C&B practices & policies that attract and retain high quality talent, motivate and reward performance, and ensure equitable remuneration. This role is accountable for regularly reviewing and evaluating C&B approaches in the UK against the organisational strategy to ensure they are fit-for-purpose. They will continually develop current and future C&B policies that are appropriate considering market trends and priorities and aligned to C&B principles and philosophy. You will work closely with the benefit providers; maintaining the relationships, managing the yearly renewals process, and ensuring there is proper governance, application, and administration of all the benefits schemes. You will be responsible for the following key outputs and accountabilities: Support the Head of HR Operations & Reward to define and manage the pay and benefits proposition within global and regional frameworks in alignment with our overall company strategy, growth plans and culture Actively contribute to the HR team to drive best practice and ensure the reward strategy supports the business’s short and long-term objectives Overall management of the employee benefits schemes, including annual renewal, monthly administration and communication to colleagues Own the relationship with benefits providers, ensuring the company's needs are met and services are delivered effectively Work with the Head of HR Operations & Reward to define the C&B total offering, strategy, and objectives. Ensure regular benchmarking and market research on pay and benefits is undertaken and recommending enhancements to current schemes as necessary Manage the approach to job evaluation to maintain consistency and fairness Lead on the communication and management of the various incentive schemes for employees. This includes short term incentives (STI/bonus schemes) and long-term incentives (LTI) Design, communication and management of the local functional incentive schemes, including Manufacturing & Supply Chain incentive In conjunction with the Head of HR Operations & Reward conduct and analyse annual market pay and benefits surveys and determine new pay scales Play a pivotal role in delivering the annual pay review and bonus review process and reports to support the budget process and annual reward ranges Involvement in preparation of employee Total Reward Statements Keep the Compensation module within HOPS (SAP Success Factors) up to date Experience required: Proven C&B experience with a strong operational and execution focus, Experience within the FMCG industry is preferred but not essential. Working knowledge of employment laws associated with C&B. Experience of working with job evaluation methodologies, preferably Korn Ferry Hay method Ability to analyse data and provide performance and reward related insights on individuals or groups to managers and HR specialists to aid value-add decision making Proven experience of the development and utilisation of HR systems to maximise efficiency, reduce cost and enhance user experience Ability to develop detailed C&B plans in line with company strategy Experience of managing C&B processes, such as annual pay review, bonus/incentive payments, annual renewal of benefits, and preferably also job evaluation and salary benchmarking Ability to answer employee and manager queries regarding C&B procedures, policies and systems.
